Ruto's Response After Poll Showed Percentage of Kenyans Likely to Vote Against Him in 2027

President William Ruto has addressed reports that 62 percent of Kenyans might vote against him in the 2027 general election.

This follows a recent survey, which indicated that majority of Kenyans do not like the direction the country is taking under his leadership.

Ruto, however, has dismissed this data, terming it misleading.

He has stated that opinion polls normally don't represent the actual situation, recalling how they predicted his loss in the 2022 election.

“I will tell you, in the last election, the poll showed that I would never win an election, which I did,” he is quoted by the People Daily.

The Head of State claimed that he has won the support of the youth, some of whom have been against his government .

According to Ruto, this group has realised that his government is delivering on the promises he gave during the 2022 campaigns and is now moving closer to him.
