Njiru insisted that leaders in the opposition are fully aware of Kuria’s style of politics and have long suspected that he works with interests outside the group.
Njiru argued that Kuria’s recent public statements and actions reveal a pattern he believes mirrors the work of someone who is not fully aligned with the coalition’s long-term strategy.
According to him, Kuria often appears to take positions that weaken the opposition’s messaging, only to later shift his stance when political pressure mounts.
He remarked that this behavior is familiar to many within the movement and should not surprise those following national politics.
Despite the strong remarks, Njiru noted that the United Opposition remains focused on strengthening internal unity and preparing for the next phase of political contests.
He said members have become more alert to conduct that may introduce confusion or slow their progress.
Njiru maintained that the coalition is aware of the political games at play and will continue to watch every move carefully as it sharpens its campaign machinery for the coming electoral season.
