Sick? Ruto Secretly Travelled to Dubai at Night Aboard a Sh2 Billion Luxury Private Jet to Do This

Questions have emerged online and in political circles after flight tracking data appeared to suggest that President William Ruto may have quietly travelled to Dubai aboard a luxury private jet valued at about Sh2 billion, even as his official programme indicated he was still in Kenya.

According to screenshots and records circulating on social media on Tuesday, a Bombardier Global 7500 — one of the world’s most expensive private jets — is said to have departed Nairobi and landed in Dubai within a timeframe that overlaps with dates when the President was expected to attend local engagements.

The aircraft is popular among high-net-worth individuals and top political leaders due to its long-range capability and plush interior.

The claims have not been independently verified, and State House has not issued any official clarification on the matter.

However, the reports have sparked fresh debate over transparency in presidential travel, especially at a time when the government is urging Kenyans to accept austerity measures and higher taxes to stabilise the economy.

The alleged trip comes amid intense public scrutiny of government spending, with Kenyans grappling with rising fuel prices, a high cost of living, and ongoing protests demanding accountability from leaders.

Only this week, Treasury officials defended the latest tax measures in Parliament, insisting that sacrifices were necessary to keep the economy afloat.

Opposition figures and civil society groups have seized on the Dubai jet claims to question whether public resources are being used prudently.

Some have argued that if the President indeed travelled abroad privately, the public deserves a clear explanation, particularly if the trip was not reflected in official communication.

Supporters of the President, however, caution against jumping to conclusions based solely on flight data, noting that such aircraft are often chartered and may not necessarily carry the Head of State.

As the discussion continues to trend, pressure is mounting on State House to address the reports and reassure Kenyans on transparency.

In the current political climate, even unconfirmed travel details have become a powerful symbol in the wider national conversation about leadership, trust, and responsible use of public resources.
