Bad News as “Lero ni Lero” Singer Is Hospitalized After Alleged Assault by Prince Indah’s Bouncers

Renowned Luhya musician Emmanuel Musindi is nursing serious injuries after an alleged assault at the Mama Ngina Waterfront in Mombasa.

The celebrated artist, best known for his hit track “Lero ni Lero,” was reportedly attacked by bouncers attached to fellow musician Prince Indah’s security team.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the sidelines of Prince Indah’s performance during the Mama Ngina celebrations.

Musindi is said to have approached the stage area to greet Indah after the show but was blocked and forcefully pushed away by the security personnel.

Witnesses claim the confrontation escalated quickly, resulting in Musindi sustaining injuries that required urgent medical attention. He was rushed to a hospital in Kakamega, where he is currently receiving treatment.

The news has sparked widespread concern among fans and fellow artists, many of whom have condemned the violence.

Observers argue that musicians, regardless of their backgrounds or genre differences, deserve mutual respect and peaceful interaction, especially in shared spaces within the entertainment industry.

Prominent political communicator Philip Etale has publicly called on Prince Indah to intervene and address the matter.

Etale urged Indah to ensure that justice is served and to dissociate himself from any act of aggression linked to his team.

The alleged assault has also renewed discussions about security conduct at entertainment events.

Critics say that some event bouncers often exhibit unnecessary force, posing risks to both performers and attendees.

Musindi’s supporters are now demanding a transparent investigation into the incident.

They insist that accountability is essential, not only for justice but also to safeguard artists’ welfare during public gatherings.

As Musindi continues to recover, fans across the country have sent their well-wishes, hoping he regains full health and returns to the stage soon.
