“Uhuru Lied to Us in 2022 and We Will Not Allow Him to Lie to Us Again” Top Politician Attacks Uhuru

Political tension is rising after a senior government official openly attacked former President Uhuru Kenyatta over the events of the 2022 general elections.

On Sunday, speaking during a church service, as reported by one of the media houses, a prominent politician who is currently serving as a Cabinet Secretary (CS) in President William Ruto’s government accused Uhuru Kenyatta of lying to them in 2022.

The CS told the congregation that many leaders trusted Uhuru at the time, but later realized they were misled.

The CS said the lies told in 2022 affected political choices and confused many leaders and supporters. He warned that they will not allow such lies to be repeated as the country prepares for the 2027 elections.

According to him, leaders have now opened their eyes and are more careful about political promises being made behind closed doors.

Going further, the Cabinet Secretary made serious claims against the former president. He alleged that Uhuru Kenyatta had paid some ODM members whose mission is to divide the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

The CS claimed that these individuals are being used to cause internal fights, spread propaganda, and weaken the party from within. He insisted that such actions are dangerous to the unity of the party and the country at large.

CS Mbadi also claimed that Uhuru Kenyatta is secretly holding private meetings with some ODM members. According to Mbadi, the aim of these meetings is to plan how to divide the party.

However, he confidently stated that the plan will not work. He said ODM leaders are aware of what is happening and are united and focused.

Mbadi urged party members to remain loyal and avoid being used for personal or political gains.

The Cabinet Secretary further revealed that the ODM Party had already signed a pact to work with President William Ruto until 2032.

He said the agreement was made in the interest of national unity, development, and stability.

According to him, no amount of interference from outside forces will break the agreement or weaken the cooperation between ODM and the Ruto-led administration.

However, politicians in the Jubilee Party, including Jeremiah Kioni, have defended Uhuru Kenyatta, dismissing claims that he is working to divide the ODM Party.
